Abstract :
The increase in the popularization of Internet resources brings changes and challenges to the traditional approaches in technology education. This paper examines how different Internet services can be used in order to make the students in a biomedical engineering technology program gain experience in the correct use of their resources and gain insight into their future professions. Students are exposed to a variety of situations that have been carefully designed to improve their critical thinking abilities, increase their exposure to different medical equipment and interact with clinical engineering professionals. However, although the Internet is a very powerful resource, its use in engineering education may bring new problems and challenges that need to be thoughtfully considered.
