Abstract
Among possible 2D identification methods the JTC (Joint Transform Correlation) method is one of very well known. Because of the possible optical implementation it has been deeply studied as a massively parallel approach. This paper deals with some selected problems related to a practical application of JTC method. As published on previous Carnahan conferences we have to know a sensitivity (robustness) of the method to some realistic distortion mechanisms. Previously we have tested zooming, dilation etc. Here we demonstrate an influence of partial covering, a loss of some lines and a noise influence.
