  • Abstract
    The study examines postural activity of a constrained subject in response to a disturbance in sagittal plane for three different initial standing postures. Linear relationship between the ankle joint torque and the ankle joint angle, resulting in constant stiffness in the ankles can be observed for the majority of experimental conditions.
