Abstract
We discuss some technological aspects of multimedia communications, such as the user and network requirements. The multimedia systems involve two or more media, such as text, speech, audio, images, video and data. Since multimedia include both person-to-person and person-to-machine applications, the user and networks requirements should be appropriately fulfilled.
