Abstract :
A novel dispersion compensating fiber (DCF) for a single-mode fiber (SMF) in S-, C-, and L-bands was explored. The dispersion-flattened link consisting of fabricated DCF and SMF successfully realized a small dispersion variance within ±0.25 ps/km/nm over 140 nm-bandwidth ranging from 1480 to 1620 nm.
