  • Abstract
    This paper presents a new method for symbolic analysis of large circuits. The approach is based on tearing of a large network into smaller subnetworks. Actually, the diakoptic approach is performed at symbolic level and a combination with numeric circuit analysis is suggested with the aim of exploring the maximum benefits of the method. The approach is incorporated into the SymsimC symbolic simulator. The results of simulations are demonstrated on a practical example.
