  • Abstract
    Owing to S-band optical amplifiers, high spectral efficiency MUX/DEMUX technologies and advances in transmission fiber, 10 Tb/s DWDM transmission experiments have been achieved. Key technologies and issues for 10 Tb/s transmission are reviewed.
