Abstract :
The paper deals with the simulation of earth faults in the arrangement of power converter equipped with a three-phase bridge rectifier. Short circuit current, voltage drop in the protective conductor, pulsating component of the voltage drop, times of circuit trip-out and the output voltage of the rectifier have been investigated. Conditions and measures for people protection against electrical shock and arrangement protection against the fire have been discussed.
