Abstract
Software predicting the steady-state of microwave oscillators is proposed. The method is based on an effective conjunction of the /spl epsiv/-algorithm with a detection of an unknown period using derivatives of an output. Necessary estimate of the /spl epsiv/-algorithm´s level may be done in a nonstandard way using a distribution of poles of a hypothetical transfer function. An accuracy of the analyses is increased by a refinement of the GaAs FET standard model. The steady-state algorithm and an improved GaAs FET model were implemented and tested by means of author´s CIA (Circuit Interactive Analyzer) program using real data given by a tunable oscillator.
