Abstract
A new state model for lossy inductors is presented. The model includes the effects of saturation, hysteresis and eddy currents, and is dynamically accurate up to frequencies at which high power converters typically operate. The model is relatively simple, noniterative, executes rapidly in a computer simulation and can be readily incorporated into existing simulation software. An example of parameterization and implementation of the model is presented and experimentally verified
