Abstract
A more precise method for determining the frequency dependency of noise figures for microwave amplifiers is briefly presented. The method can be used effectively by SPICE and C.I.A. (circuit interactive analyzer) programs. In comparison with the primary method using the SPICE program, graphic results can also be obtained during the run of the C.I.A. program without the necessity of numerical postprocessing. Moreover, the frequency dependency of the noise figure may also be optimized to achieve better results from a technical point of view. Graphic results of an example are also presented.
