A comparison of data warehouse concept in Croatian and Slovenian larger companies

Improvement of the management and the decision making process is an important objective of every company. Usage of information technology and development of decision support systems based on a data warehouse have a key role in achieving maximal effects of the management and the decision process. The main objective of this research is to analyze the level and usage of the data warehouse concept in larger companies in Croatia and Slovenia, countries involved in transition processes. The results of the research in both countries are compared, in order to identify the similarities and differences between two countries.
