Abstract :
The excitation of magnetostatic surface wave/magnetostatic backward volume wave modes is analyzed by using the integral kernel expansion method. The Fourier integral containing unknown current density flowing in a transducer is reduced to linear equations with unknown coefficients by expansion of the integral kernel and the unknown function. Comparison of the numerical results with an experiment is in good agreement.
