Abstract :
This work deals with the analysis and design of tapered microstrip patch antennas printed on anisotropic dielectric substrates. This accurate analysis is based on the full-wave spectral domain formulation by means of Galerkin´s method. Results are presented for the main parameters. It is found that linear variations in the substrate height profile produce a great influence on the bandwidth of microstrip antennas.
