Abstract :
A photorefractive grating induced in a slab waveguide based on semi-insulating AlGaAs/GaAs multiple quantum well structure with electric field applied along the quantum well planes is analysed. It is shown that such a grating can be used for frequency selective reflection and deflection of guided modes.
