Abstract :
Adaptive equalisation techniques are required in digital mobile radio systems to combat intersymbol interference, which is caused by the time-variant multipath propagation of signals. In this paper, we focus on the trans-European trunked radio (TETRA) system and examine decision feedback equaliser structures that may be used as an optional function in Class E equipment of the standard.
