Abstract :
The objective of this study was to develop a simple, rapid, reproducible and noninvasive method of systematic assessment of the autonomic dysfunction syndrome. The data collection and evaluation procedure consisted of monitoring the relative variations in skin electrical resistance and capacitance by means of an impedance self-balancing reactometer. Monitoring was done by analogical differentiation on time of the relative variation in skin electrical resistance and capacitance, which registered bilaterally at palm and sole levels, the patient lying relaxed and with eyes closed.
