Abstract :
A frequency analysis of the displacement curve (kinetocardiogram, KCG) has been carried out. Four types of curve patterns were found as a reaction to physical effort: normotonic, hypertonic, bisinusoid, asthenic. The distinguishing feature is the diastolic filling. The frequency analysis yields additional information. By using or eliminating some of the components, the curve can be synthesized gradually. The current understanding of hemodynamic genesis is supported.
