  • Abstract
    In this paper a new approach on nonlinearity distortion in amplifiers is given. For an amplifier is possible to establish a relationship between the output power at 1 dB compression and third order interception point for the classical approximation and for a new type of approximation based on modulus. The theoretical values are in good agreement with experimental values.
