Abstract :
The composition of phase-controlled high voltage circuit breaker, special requirement about circuit breaker, and setting of phase-controlled unit are introduced in this paper. To apply this kind of circuit breaker to a shunt reactor circuit, we also measured the switching overvoltage resulting from a breaker´s breaking operation.
