Abstract
We present a novel implementation for computing the complex Givens rotation, using complex number online arithmetic, based on adopting a redundant complex number system (RCNS) to represent complex operands as a single number. We present cost and delay comparisons with a conventional parallel approach, to demonstrate a significant improvement in design.
