Abstract :
A method of calculation of eddy-current and temperature of the sheath in three-phase pipe-sheathing systems is presented. The current distribution within the phase conductors is derived from the integral equation formulation. The current distribution and temperature within sheath are derived from the analytical method. The 2D field problem is discused. The presented method reduces an external field problem to the internal problem and enables to calculate the temperature of the sheath for continuous permissible load.
