Abstract
There have been investigated various modes of biasing and feeding of the Permalloy thin film sensors used in magneto-resistive magnetometers. These magnetometers may be used for relatively simple measurements of direct and alternating flux density in the range 100nT-10mT. The introduction of alternating bias field in the direct flux density measurements helps to reduce the temperature zero drift of a magnetometer.
