Abstract :
This paper presents results of a basic study on a semiconductor coupled SAW programmable devices, in which SAW IDTs are coupled with a bonded semiconductor diodes. We discuss basic requirements on SAW device and diodes for a linear and non-linear operations. We propose novel functional devices, including a programmable correlator, which has a high efficiency and a robustness against a parameter variation. We show the effectiveness of devices using circuit simulation and a basic experiment
