Abstract :
The paper extends the differential model of SPUDT to the whole filter. It concentrates of improving the computational efficiency of the model from the optimization standpoint. The main issue addressed is analytical computation of the derivatives of all filter characteristics with respect to the input parameters of the model. Resolving this issue made possible boosting the speed of optimization of filter design up to 50 times
