Constitution and bylaws changes

From time to time, amendments to the Constitution and Bylaws of the EMC Society are required in order to maintain their relevance and to align them with the organizational structure of the Board of Directors. The changes shown below were approved by the IEEE EMC Society Board of Directors and approved by the IEEE. In accordance with the procedures for amending the Constitution and Bylaws, they are being published here. These amendments become effective 30 days after publication unless ten percent of the Society members object. Comments or objections may be sent to g.pettit@ieee.org. These changes to the Constitution and Bylaws of the EMC Society were requested by the IEEE. These were included in the notice in an earlier issue of the Magazine as proposed changes and were approved by the BoD in the meeting this November.
