Abstract :
By virtue of the diffraction-free propagation of surface acoustic waves (SAWs) on a sphere, we observed multiple round-trips of as many as 100 turns. After experimental verification of the beam shapes, we proposed ball acoustooptic devices utilizing the focussing SAWs
