Abstract :
This paper presents possibilities of analysis of thermal properties of a high power thyristor structure based on the results of photoacoustic investigations. In order to eliminate the influence of linear distortions, the idea of temperature contrasts was applied. Contrasts´ characteristics were determined based upon photoacoustic images of the structure registered in harmonic and pulse excitation mode
