Abstract :
The resistance-vs-current and voltage-vs-current dependences of polycrystalline Y-Ba-Cu-O and Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O thin film microstrips are studied by nanosecond electrical pulses. It was found that up to a certain current I/sub c1/(I/sub c1/>I/sub c/) thermal processes do not play any role in the origin of the dissipative state. In this case the V-I curve consists of several direct lines which have different slopes to the current axis. The results are discussed in terms of motion of vortices in superconducting film with several types of pinning centers.
