Abstract :
The tuning property of some nonlinear acoustoelectric voltage oscillations observed in a high-DC-current-driven n-InSb Hall bar along a piezoelectric direction is reported for potential frequency synthesizer applications. The highest frequency change is observed for an oscillation near 7.9 MHz with a tuning sensitivity of 248 kHz/mA.
