Fully adaptive constrained notch filter for tracking multiple frequencies

A fully adaptive constrained notch filter in cascade form is proposed for tracking the time-varying frequencies of multiple noisy sinusoids. Recursive prediction-error estimation of the notch bandwidths enables, together with a specific adaptation of the forgetting factors of the algorithm, successful applications of the filter in uncertain and nonstationary environments.
