Abstract
In this paper, a new control technique is proposed for the active filter using the current source converter. The control circuit of the proposed system is very simple, because the references of compensation currents aren´t necessary. The compensation of line current with a filter circuit can be automatically obtained by PWM control based on the differentiation of the instantaneous active and reactive current vector detected from the source current. In this paper, the principle of the control technique for the active filter is proposed. Then, some experimental results are shown
