  • Abstract
A new intelligent RAM (IRAM) architecture based on embedding DRAM memory and many simple processors on a chip is introduced. The architecture has the advantage of being able to perform massive parallel computing and of being usable as plain DRAM. Some key parts of the architecture are described. We also show that the architecture can be used in graphics applications where high rasterizer performance is required
