Abstract :
Thales can offer in C-Band low power travelling wave tubes from 20 to 40 Watt with an overall outstanding efficiency from 65 to 68 % in 250 MHz bandwidth for normal space requirements. The similar results were reached in Ku-band for 30 to 50 Watt with an overall efficiency up to 70 % for 500 MHz bandwidth and phase shift with max 45 degrees. This efficiency values were measured on development tubes and now all these tubes are running in production with the same extreme good efficiency values.
