Abstract :
The marching-on-in-time solution of the electric field integral equation (EFIE) is proposed to study arbitrarily bent wire antennas, realized as a combination of different radiating systems: helices, loops, monopoles. The method is particularly suitable for CAD packages, because it allows us to achieve the input impedance, that most critical antenna parameter, over a wide frequency range, with a modest computational effort. Some results are presented and compared with measurements.
