Abstract :
The cutoff wavenumbers of the elliptic sectoral resonators are analyzed and their relation to the elliptic resonator and the sectoral circular resonator are demonstrated. Approximate methods are developed for computing the cutoff wavenumbers of the elliptic sectoral resonators, which are fast and fairly accurate.
