Abstract :
A new method for computation of electromagnetic wave propagation over irregular terrain is proposed. The method combines the physical optic and parabolic equation methods. This enables the calculation of cases where the physical optics and the parabolic equation are not applicable (low altitude propagation and directions that are more than approximately 10°, respectively).
