Abstract :
The propagating properties of dielectric waveguides (DW) working in millimeter wave range are investigated. The interest and attention are focused on the peculiarities of a propagation of electromagnetic waves in dielectric waveguides in the region of weak retardings. The losses in DWs in 3 mm wavelength range have been experimentally measured. The results of the experiment demonstrate the promising use of these lines in communication systems in mm and sub mm range.
