Abstract
In this paper, a model for mimicking the behavior of the prefrontal cortex in the Wisconsin card sorting test is given for both healthy and lesioned subjects. A simple model based on a winner take all network and a multilayer perceptron suffices to model the effect of frontal lobe damage, which leads to preservation as well as diminishing the influence of reinforcement.
