Abstract :
A set of new expressions is presented that provide an efficacious and simple calculation of the magnetostatic field components in the case of current-carrying conductors. The expressions are used to calculate the magnetostatic field components of a circular arc segment with a circular transversal cross-section. They are suitable for practical application to various magnetic field problems (tokamaks, transformers, reactors, etc.).
