Abstract :
This paper deals with the characterization of blood ultrasonic Doppler signals via the computation of the "mean fractal dimension". We show and we discuss the existing links between the "mean fractal dimension" and the well-known mean frequency and the bandwidth usually used to characterize the blood Doppler signals. To finish, we calculate and we discuss all these parameters in the case of in vivo blood Doppler signals.
