Abstract :
Recent studies and developments of discrete-time variable structure control (DVSC) theory are summarized in this paper. Some control strategies of DVSC are analyzed. Two problems in DVSC-time-delay and chattering are discussed in detail. Finally, the prospective trends of DVSC are suggested.
