Abstract :
A highly efficient intelligent transportation system (ITS) is urgently needed to solve the transportation problems in large cites. Thus, new disciplines and approaches are necessary to be brought into the management and control of ITS. This paper introduces the application of fuzzy extension information in the management and control of intelligent transportation. It evaluates ITS with the fuzzy grey matter and element space decision support system. The method of fuzzy extension traffic control is proposed with the purpose of meeting the transportation requirement in large cities.
