Abstract :
The paper by Arkoumaneas [1] introduces the reader to methods for calculating, approximately, the screening range of a search radar in the presence of a noise jammer. Although I accept the results of the paper as far as they go, I wish to draw attention to several refinements leading to improved accuracy.
