Abstract :
A novel gate algorithm for tracking target in a heavy clutter environment is presented in this paper. The main features of this method are: 1) to set up a performance function of data association based on some prior-probabilities; and 2) to estimate the gate size by searching the optimal solution of this performance function. Finally, this gate method was compared with some of the classical methods.
