Abstract :
A fuzzy-prediction controller is used to control the overflow density of a milling-classifier operation system, which has uncertainty factors and nonlinear time-delay characteristics which introduces difficulties for mathematical modeling. By applying fuzzy control to stabilize the system, then a new predictive model based on the controlled parameter is developed. However, fuzzy-prediction control gets a satisfactory control result for overflow density. Practical production has proved that the ore feeding of the ball mill improved 6.0%, reclaiming rate added 2.0% and the average stable state error of overflow density was less than 3.0%, and made remarkable economic profit.
