Abstract :
A method is proposed that will provide Global Positioning Service (GPS) to geosynchronous (GEO) satellites. The present GPS is in too low an orbit to provide this service. By means of two GOES weather satellites and four pseudolite sites on Earth employing multibeam antenna systems, one can provide equal ERP transmit GPS signals to GEO spacecraft (S/C) users.
