Abstract :
We have proposed a simple and low-cost method for realizing a low reflective and almost flat multichannel filter over 50 nm taking into account the diffraction of UV light. The grid obtained presented a 200 GHz inter-channel spacing but the principle would be also applicable for a 100 GHz grid. Although the reflectivity of such filter is too much small for WDM applications, it could be nevertheless very well suitable for laser tuneability applications where low reflectivity is needed if the sampled FBG is used as one of the cavity mirrors of a fiber laser.
