Abstract :
We report the best performance of a fully functional 8×8 channel, 3.2 nm channel spacing 2D integrated optic (IO) wavelength filter. The characteristics of this device are already suitable for data communications systems. The performance of these devices will be further enhanced by device processing optimisation.
