            Abstract : 
In this paper, we propose MCMQS (multi-class multi-queue system), which is effective in modeling and analyzing computer and communication systems, and we investigate its characteristics in detail. First, we deduce MCMQS´s general system stability condition, and give its application in concrete types of services. Through analyzing the service procedure and number of waiting messages, we construct an embedded Markov chain and a generation function of waiting messages. Then, we derive an analytical expression of MCMQS´s mean system operation period under the system stable condition. Further, we amend the analytical expression after considering the effect of the system stable condition. A numerical example verifies the theoretical analysis.
